This is a descriptive post about how to write a well structured CSS file. I already spoken about code readability in CSS files, but after several most specific requests about this argument (mainly about the difficult of some readers to manage CSS file with a big quantity of layout elements), I decided to illustrate the process I use in these cases.

Up-to-date HTML references are hard to come by these days and one great HTML reference that I use from time to time is W3Schools.com. Sitepoint just released a brand new HTML reference that has a search function and more relevant categories such as Microformats, Deprecated Elements and Proprietary Elements. It also shows the compatibility of each element with major browsers.
